Rethinking 'Why Crypto?'

We saw a lot of dump coins, shit shows, rugpulls, ponzi scams, degen VCs, and we rethink...

  • Why cryptocurrency? --- It seems we're doing totally fine with fiats and delayed payment.

  • Why decentralized refers to fairness? --- An central authority can also do our justice, but nobody help in a DeFi hack.

  • Why DeFi and NFT are revolutionizing our life? --- Without them, banks are still running and arts are still all around us.

If so, is crypto just a bubble that doing wealth transfers among a group of people in a walled garden? Or simply because people become defensive to new things and hate change?

Ignoring all token price things, by leveraging blockchain and crypto, we can...

  • easily connect and provide services to people around the world

  • crypto wallet as our decentralized single sign on identity

  • instant trade, transfer around the world on any devices with the internet

  • transparent records and history, even the richer cannot override the rules

  • smart contract to enable permissionless and automated access to services

  • provide the deepest liquidity of assets for all people with no boundary

  • setup a unified standard like what we do in Web2 World Wide Web

It's a better future, isn't it?

Probably we're still too early to talk about all these and comes with a lot of barriers to make them come true, but at least we have these feasibility, continuously trial and error will definitely bring us to the right direction to build a better world FOR the people.
